I require a simple Access database please.
It doesn't have to be graphically nice, but it does have to be easy to read with a sensible layout.
It will have five tables:
- clients
- domains
- transactions
- hostingTypes
- transactionCodes
- conversions
The system should use forms to show a list of businesses and will allow you to add/edit/remove businesses.
Each business will have:
business name, first name, last name, email, phone,
fax, mobile, street, suburb, state, country, general notes,
member since (date),
total transactions amount (get from transactions table),
average monthly spend (= total $ divided by months since "member since" date)
When you click on a business in the list you will see the above info, and you will also see:
- a list of domains
(table layout: columns will be: domain name, domain renewal date, hosting renewal date)
(need to be able to add/edit/remove rows)
- a list of transactions
(table layout: columns will be: date, code, amount)
(need to be able to add/edit/remove rows)
- a list of conversions
(table layout: columns will be: date, successful (Y/N))
------------------------
When you click on a domain the fields will be:
- domain name
- plesk user
- plesk password
- ftp user
- ftp password
- cms user
- cms password
- mysql user
- mysql pass
- sql server user
- sql server pass
- email addresses [large field = varchar(max)]
- domain registration due date
- hosting due date
- hosting type (different types in separate SQL table)
- hosting cost
-----------------------
When you click on a transaction you will see:
- transaction date
- transaction description
- transaction code (from transaction codes table)
- transaction amount
------------------------
When you click on a conversion you will only see:
- conversion date
- conversion successful (Yes or No selection)
-------------------------
I hope this all seems clear and easy.
Kind regards, Cerridiel
