I am in search of assistance with designing and developing a product using injection molding. The following are my specific needs that you would bid on. 1. Create a 3d image of my product based on a draft I have developed (image is attached). This 3d image needs to be technically drawn so that I can use it to obtain bids from injection molding companies. You may add your artistic talents to make it look like a marketable product within the dimensions and guidelines I will provide. 2. Provide design recommendations to improve function. 3. Provide recommendation on the least expensive approach to create this product given the product requirements that I will provide. Application This is a balance training device. People would strap this to the bottom of their shoe and balance on the sphere. They would stand and perform a series of exercises moving forward, backward and side to side trying to limit the bottom edges of the platform from contacting so the sphere needs to be strongly attached to the platform (I used nipples that could press through the platform and secure the sphere as well as a ridge around the sphere). Specifications The top of the platform needs to be flat to accommodate a shoe (although it could have grooves /ridges or logo imprint). The bottom needs to be designed so that if the platform is level the outer edges of the bottom of the platform would be 1 inch from the ground with the center of the sphere being the pivot point. There can not be any obstructions between the pivot point and the bottom edges of the platform. The sphere must be rigid enough to not deform if a 300# person stood on it and have enough grip that this could be used on a smooth floor (ie wood floor). I have found that a lacrosse ball works perfectly and the shore A hardness is 57. The platform needs to be rigid and strong enough to support a 300# person. Length 9.5 inches Front width 4.5 inches Sphere apex must be centered on the front of the device about 2 inches from front and sides. Sphere needs to hold the platform 1 inch above any side contact point and be between 2.25 and 2.5 inch diameter with a shore A hardness of 57 (like a lacrosse ball) Strap cut outs are 1/2 inch by 1/8 inch thick made of semi rigid material that would conform around a shoe but hold some shape. I would then fasten Velcro to connect the two sides on the front as well as to strap behind the heel. Logo images are attached to possibly imbed in the platform. About the attached image: Red is the sphere Green is raised strips Black is the main part of the platform
