Dear Calum2112, I am from india and a labview engineer. I develop application for automotive domain. I have worked for clients like ford. About this project first thing is to transfer the data from vehicle to any smartphone or any Bluetooth device through Bluetooth 4.0 (latest), we have to assure that it should be in Bluetooth range(30-40 feets). I can write programme in labview which can send process parameters of your vehicle using CAN protocol via buletooth. But in the other end the smart phone if it is android I have to write a GUI as an android aaps to receive the data. If you agreed with the description I can work for this project with nominal budget and please give elaborate description of the system of your vehicle so that I have to check which hardware can be integrated to it.

I'm using a elm327 interface ( bought on ebay) and i'm developing a java program to send and receive commands from the elm327 device. What we need to do?
