I have built a magento based store and have vendors who provide products, prices and inventory status on their FTP in XML format. I need to automate the updating of these things from their data feed into my website. Specifically I want to automate: -addition of new products when the vendor provides it. -adjustment of prices based on vendor data feed -Update inventory qty based on vendor feed Goals: 1. Create a Dataflow profile and code that is ready to go for use on my website. Provide instructions on how to enter specific information so I can plug in the FTP information for each supplier. [login to view URL] a means of the vendors XML file communicating with Magento. 3. Provide script and instructions on installation to run CRON for automated updating of these files from my supplier to my site. I am using Magento Community 1.7. Thank you in advance.
