Chalkboard animation recorder (actual video of application attached) This user control will be embedded into a C# .net website, need this user control built using something that doesn't require plugins. This app will be embedded into a C#.NET website for users to record the motion of the balls and draw onto the viewable area and playback. Its currently built using Silverlight. Within the viewable frame (500x410) the green icons are movable around the frame and also the user can draw on the frame (customizable images, background, pencil size). The motion should be recorded frame by frame, a similar looking user control for playback, and another for editing previously recorded animations is also required. The motion data will be stored in a database so that when replay is needed, it can be loaded and played back and also editable if necessary. Any icon can move independently or together for any length of time as recorded. The viewable frame is also like a chalk board where you can draw on per frame. User can also text into a textbox for each frame independently. My thinking: User starts off with arranging the icons in the initial start position desired. Click the Record button to start recording, at this point, grey out record button. When a ball is moved, record the motion. If it’s a new frame, press the next button to increase frame counter, which should be in between the prev and next button. In this frame, move the balls as desired. If two or more balls are moved in a single frame, means that the balls are moving simultaneously together. Using the pencil tool draw on motion area and capture this pencil drawing too. If the next button is clicked, once again increase frame counter and clear out old frame pencil drawings. If needed, use eraser tool to erase drawings. When stop button is pressed, store all the motion data and pencil drawings into a database. Requirements: 1) A recorder, 2) A player, 3) An editor The attached video file is the actual application already built using Silverlight, I want it such that we don't need any plugin software. I am also attaching the classes I am currently using in silverlight. Currently, I am serializing those classes that store the ball data and stage data into recordings and storing them as JSON in SQL Server. Feel free to suggest a better way to record/store the data and overall program the user control.
