Artwork Brief
I'm seeking suitable artwork for a Children's ebook series (for children aged 4 to 6 years)
This is for the first book in the series, which will be given away free. The rest of the series will be sold. This will hopefully be the start of a continuing relationship and work for the illustrator.
Each book will consist of
1 cover page
5 to 8 illustrated pages formatted as seen in attachments.
2 pages of muted tones with light topic based detail in the background. This will allow for printed text to cover with little distraction.
These books are designed to be "joyful" and capture the children's imagination so the little characters will need to have pleasing and engaging features.
As this project series grows the goal is to replicate and release to multiple countries.
Therefore the Artwork should therefore be designed mindfully to allow for simple ethnicity changes including facial features and skin tones.
The attachments are example of the type of look I'm after. It should be taken as a guide...
You are far more expert in this field than myself. I'm open to suggestions to make this simpler and more successful.

Notes to attachments
1. You will see the problem with the "blue" space themed page... (Example 3) It's difficult to make the text stand out... So each page will need to have for example - faded areas for text placement (ideally... top left and bottom right... OR... bottom left and top right... )
2. You will also see I've attempted to define these formats. I'm open to suggestions and the appropriate terminology.. Thanks
