The technique you're looking for is called pointillism, the picture is filled with millions of dots of various colors with blue or yellow and red, basic colors and blend in the eye to see the other colors of the spectrum. Hi, my name is Alberto Alonso and I´m really interested in making a nice picture for your father. I´m a professional painter and illustrator and I really enjoy this kind of work. Please take a look at my portfolio to see the way I work. I´m uploading right now some pictures in the "other images" section so you can figure out the styles in which I work. Please, feel free to ask and propose whatever. I always make oil painting on canvas because it´s the paint that offers more possibilites. This time I would paint it on print or wood to make it cheaper for you and I would send it to you in a digital archive so you can print it over a foam core board. The idea is that I would paint it on a 20x29 inches print or wood board. Anyway if you want I can do it on canvas, the material would be 15 $ more and we would have to find out the shipping price. We can discuss everything, it´s just a proposal. I can do it in five days, because I need time for the oil to get dry sometimes. Finally I think the price is fine for an oil work, I mean painters usually ask for a lot of money for an oil picture, but I.m open to any suggestion. Feel free to tell me your thoughts.
