I have written a chapter book targeted towards children 7 to 9 years old. I am looking for an illustrator to create the cover for my book and 4-6 sketches to be used throughout the book. This is the first book within a series. This opportunity is for the first book only. If all goes well, I would like to use the same illustrator for all books in the series. The series will first be published as an ebook. I am willing to pay for the illustrations, but will NOT pay royalties upon book sales. I have pictures to use as REFERENCE ONLY. These pictures are only to give an example of setting and characters, not to be used for actual design.

I can a lot with the kinds of references to have. Pictures plus the story will really allow me to describe in illustration what you have created.
