Hi - I've send you samples in the previous bid. So inx file is interchange file between InDesing versions, so I think there will be no problem to open CS2 with CS. So if you have INX exported form CS2, nothing can be done, but open it with CS. No matter weather I will do that or you, the result will be the same, and if there is somthing wrong, there is no matter who will open and convert. I'm doning such conversions and there are issues only for options, not available in previous versions. If you do not have somthing very special (for instance in CS3 we have "innder glow", so if I apply it to an object, and exprort the file to CS2, this effect will not appear.) So, finally: we can do the following. I'll convert to INX form CS2 and if you fail to open with CS, I'll convert it to INDD CS and fix if needed.
