Hi... I'm Tom, into financial maths, I currently work in the City as a Quantitative Analyst. and want to create a basic website which downloads some financial data, does some number crunching (both of which I can supply sample python code for) and then publishes the results online, via a job which runs frequently, checking for new data etc. I imagine I would also need an SQL database. I think python would be the easiest language to do the number crunching, so this is my preference but I'm open to suggestions. After the basic setup is achieved I would need to be shown how to modify the website.

Hi, I have 4 years of Python/Django coding experience. I think I can do the backend and the async number crunching job in python. I'm not good at website design though...if you have a design in mind , or a picture or example of how you want to look like , then I can work with that. Depending on how complicated that is, I will update my bid accordingly. For the backend part , I can do it in 1-2 days. The frontend might take more depending on what needs to be done. Hello, Tom. I can do the site for you using Bootstrap and Angular for the graphical interface, and either python/php/nodejs for the back-end. Indeed, a database will be needed for persistent data storage. My recommandation would be using mongodb, which allows you to store data without knowing it's structure.
