This is a full web design project as opposed to a rebuilding of an existing.
I have a customer who is a housing co-op. They have 1500 properties as part of their co-op. A similar website to theirs would be [login to view URL] .
The features they are looking for are below:
Overall this website will be a great source of information to include background of the community itself to include pictures and history. It will also be a good go to place for residents to get notices/information from. It needs to be able to be updated for content changes.
On the front end:
A general introduction page with menus leading to other pages. (Calendar, list of Board members, community notices, for sale list, office hours/closures)
Form for making the Co-Op aware of potential issues from the residents.
Bilingual (Eng/Spa) (proofread so no loss of meaning or translation occurs)
Scrolling News feed (community notices) on the main page
On the for sale page, a great idea would be to integrate MRIS listings into the for sale pages. If we set that up, it should keep the listings of what is available for sale current as per the MRIS listings which are handled by the realtors themselves. I know WordPress has plugins for this.
(Optional) How much more would it cost if they wanted to have each property input as a login user? There are 1500 properties and also if they choose this route, how much more maintenance will there need to be to maintain the users?

Important private information will be made available to only those who have permission to access it. Private information to include Board minutes, treasury reports, foreclosures and so on…
