Design a Logo for a Tutoring Website

I need a logo for a tutoring website. I'd like some creative input in addition to the actual design (i.e. I do not have a mock-up, and would like you to think of some designs). You should expect that this might take up to 3 iterations before we settle on something, and the final product should be the logo in multiple formats (including with transparent background). I'm looking for a simple text-based logo with just a bit of design flourish.
I am planning to use the Responsive template for WordPress ([url removed, login to view]) for the site, so the logo should fit in with that.
Depending on how the project goes, there may be opportunities for continued design work for my website. Thank you.
