Saja Publishing is a small USA based independent publishing company that specializes in publishing content that caters to a black female demographic.
Our company is looking for book layout professional / book designer for our latest book “The Science of Black Hair”. The book will be 250-300 pages, 7x10 trim size. The book is currently 250-300 pages, 8x10 trim size. The layout professional will have significant previous experience in layout and design.
Our book designer / book layout professional will:
• identify problems with overall clarity or layout
• Choose the best fit layout for the 7x10 trim size
• Choose the best fit font
• Choose the best fit paragraph sizes
• Choose the best fit page numbering
• Choose the best fit style/design for titles, subtitles and the body
The book designer should be very well versed with book layout and the do’s and don’ts of book design. We will require to see some of your sample work or portfolio in order to be considered seriously.
**Prior to selecting the winning freelancer we will provide a few pages for a sample layout to determine style and fit. We are only looking for the BEST editors/proofers for this book that's anticipating very high volume sales. Please bid on this only if you can provide the best quality and communication.
