Hi, I can help you with this. I am a professional programmer and I have built several wordpress plugins from scratch. I built for a client a plugin that tracks the usage of some links. It saves the username of the user who clicked the links, also the user who copied the links, how many times the links were used, etc. All that info is displayed on the edit page of every post, so the owner can see which users are abusing the links, or trying to steal download links.
