Big Story Marketing & Communications is a small marketing consulting boutique that has been "sitting on a shelf" for a while.
An original identity was developed, however it is not the right tone for where I want to position the practice. It is a bit too cartoonish and lightweight. I would like to find a more sophisticated, business-to-business tone for the identity.
I am looking for some rough concepts that might lead somewhere... but I do not want to invest in a polished design and I am not sure how far this might go... it may be that I take presented concepts and work them forward on my own.
So the project is more of a brainstorming effort that might lead to more or might not.
I am not looking for more than 1 - 2 hours of effort. Deliverables expected are sketches or other roughs... no finished files or artwork expected.
I am open to all kinds of ideas, but anticipate more of a wordmark treatment rather than a graphical logo... but I may be way off base. Show me what you can.
Company name is Big Story Marketing & Communications. Target audience is b2b (tech, industrial, manufacturing, professional, resource sector companies) and non-profits. Not anticipating much focus on the b2c sector.
My positioning is based on helping clients build and maintain a sound strategic base for their marketing; helping them do the work they don't know how or don't have time to do. Key differentiation in my targets is companies that have the budget for reasonable marketing program and need sophisticated effort... but don't want to hire senior internal marketing management.
