Character Graphic Design - Action Trading Card Style

Designer Qualifications Looking for a creative design professional to help design several characters in a Fantasy action story. Must have experience in designing characters with an action style feel. Ability to create an independent and unique look for each character is very important. Designs a.) These characters will be Ape and Gorilla warrior/fighters. Each fighter should have a unique look and personality that evokes emotion when people see them. b.) Each character will have an action "trading card". See examples here: [login to view URL]@N04/sets/72157633493806521/ c.) Character 1 – Warrior with broad shoulders, black fur, silver birthmark on right arm d.) The other 2 character requests will follow this project. See "Your Role" for more information. Your Role a.) This first project is a trial run where I will select two different designers to design the one full color character action card mentioned above. b.) If do you an excellent job with the first character card, you will immediately win work for the next 3 characters. c.) You may have guessed that there is a huge potential for long-term design work with this project. If the characters are awesome, then I will be using your art work for the books and games we create. I will need you to create more characters and different variations of them (e.g. different angles, expressions, gear, etc). Budget a.) To keep it real this project is just starting up. This means that you are getting in on the ground floor with huge potential. That said it also means that my budget is tight to start. That doesn't mean that I'm NOT going to pay you for amazing work. But the amount of design work that I will be requesting from you will be limited to start and will ramp-up with the game and story book development. b.) My experience is that these characters could cost anywhere from $25-$100 each. Future variations of the same character may be between $10-$65 depending. How to Respond a.) Imagine you're waking up to the sound of voices talking about a tournament of badass warriors…You begin to open your eyes and as the blurry images talking come into focus you realize they aren't human…..they're Apes!
