A 3D Racing computer game created in C++ using Direct X 9.0 SDK. The game is a time trial based scenario where the car has to reach a location within a specified time. The game is off road racing with bumps similar to that of a desert environment.
## Deliverables
Game Requirements: The game must have a hud(map) denoting the car's current location and a speedometer which shows the speed of the car. It must also have a timer denoting the time left to reach the destination. The game must have a .x mesh loader to load any car model of choice with texture. The game must use the PhysX SDK for physics of the car and collision between the car and terrain. Game must use Fmod for game sound . Car must be capable on forward,backward,left and right turn controls WASD keyboard controls and Xbox as an optional input for controls. Important: Game must be well commented and each deliverable must be submitted with a text file giving full description of the source code's technical details and techniques used(the what,why and how this block of code is used). Delivery: Fully working game ready to play game with complete source code. Must be delivered in 3 stages. First Stage must include the car movement in the terrain. Second Stage must implement the collision detection with the terrain and hud including the map,speedometer and timer described above. Third Stage must implement the sound and any bugs in code must be resolved.

Software Specs. Windows XP Professional SP2 Game must use visual studio 2005 professional. Direct X 9.0 SDK. Ageia PhysX Library 2.7.1 or higher. Fmod for sound. Hardware Specs : 8600GT graphics card or higher compatible. Keyboard and XBOX 360 joystick for controls.
