Automatic Refreshable mySQL to Excel query setup

Seeking developer to automate data flow from a MySQL database (Magento store) to Excel using a constant refresh to provide current data. Requested data is cumulative total monthly sales that can be calculated from the XXXXX table in the XXXX MySQL database, which can be accessed using myPHPadmin or any other database query tool (direct connection is an option too). Script needs to run continuously to ensure the data remains current. The excel file will be placed in a PowerPoint slideshow that is set on a full-screen loop.
