I have a spreadsheet that has a number of columns with information about class rosters, payments and students.
I need a macro that will take that spreadsheet and create payment rosters for each of the classes with the class name, date, total owed to the instructor and a detail of the class . The application can run on Google docs or excel--I'd like to discuss the options. The data is manually pulled from a third party event registration tool, the total tuition summed and the instructors portion (a simple %) calculated. The output is a document or email (again open to discussion) that contains the class date, name of the class, class instructor, total revenue, total due instructor, some boiler plate on terms, and a listing of the the student names the amount each paid.

The choice of the software (Google docs or excel) will depend on the use of the document. If the document is going to be used at only one location and multiple persons need not make changes into it simultaneously, we don't need to bother about Google Docs. Excel provides far greater functionality and formatting options than Google Docs. Hence I will recommend use of Excel for this project.
Saw your revised file. Am I right to say that you will need one report for each of the following events ?
1. Advanced WordPress with Web Designer Pepper ONeal
2. Are You My Type with Author Mary OGara
3. Becoming a Professional Author with Bestselling Author Kayelle Allen
etc.
I think the format you have suggested can be improved a great deal. Also the report can be printed in PDF and emailed using either an inbuilt email client like Outlook or a web service like gmail with option to edit the mail before sending.
