I am currently using a VB.NET program I wrote to control 9 Arduino YUN devices with WIFI. I send HTTP strings and using bridge control RGB LEDs. I have found the YUNs to be unreliable and break easily. I would like to transition the devices to simple UNOs with nRF24L01+ chips. I need to help with sketch design and how to connect the nRF24L01+ to a PC and to my VB.NET program.

This module works perfectly on UNO without issues such as on Mega or YUN. So it simply use the default sketch and simply HTTP POST/GET on PC Side

We have experience working with arduino and nRF24L01 transceiver. In VB program, you just have to deal with serial commands, The hardware incorporates an USB Bridge (PC side) with a transceiver for wireless communication with another transceiver with the UNO (RGB LEDs side), you have to tell me what kind of RGB LEDs you are using (led strips, rgb leds, etc). To make the tests, I can send you the prototypes with a recharge, if you want to.

Greetings, I have no experience whatsoever with nRF24L01+, however, I have basic experience with YUN, therefore I'm assuming that you are communicating through WiFi. Instead of the headache of transitioning to nRF24L01+, I suggest transitioning to the ESP8266 WiFi module. It's cheap, and has great open source community support. If you like this suggestion, I can help you with transitioning from the YUN, as both have WiFi connectivity which means that there shouldn't be a dramatic change from the way you were originally working with. Please note that I have limit experience with HTTP, and no experience with VB.NET.

I'm currently working on these NRF modules for my college project, and as of now I have tested their range and their reliability by running them for 24 hrs continuously to control my high capacity material transferring robot to control the robot's 8 motors in three different modes : Manual, Semi-Auto, and Auto... The data transmission is flawless and I'm transmitting integer array of 10 data simultaneously. To control 9 bots at a time we can just use simple programming and an address bit... The data is received by every bot but only those bot will accept that data to which it is addressed.... The simple flow shall be: Computer ==> Serial Communication ==> UNO ==> NRF ==> NRF ==> UNO I know nothing about VB script, so you have to prepare data structure to be transmitted using another uno by serial communication... Sorry for bad English... :)

Good morning, I am highly experienced with arduino and radio links, from raw RF 315/433Mhz modules to 2.4Ghz, bluetooth and wifi modules like the ESP8266 or the nRF24L01. My bid is based on my hourly rate and an estimation of 7 hours of work, 3-4 of them can be splitted in several skype conversations to help you with the designs/code that I provide you.
