Essentially this is a role to manage "subscribe requests" from a central web-based mail inbox. As a result of various email marketing campaigns, everyday we have a steady stream of email replies from recipients requesting to be removed from our database. At the moment these requests are dealt with by the UK sales department, but it is a distraction from their main job. I would like to have someone to do this work for us. You would be given log-in details to an Outlook account and throughout the day you would monitor the inbox for anyone wishing to have their details taken off our database. From there the process is simple; just paste individual email addresses into a Google spreadsheet which will be shared with our Email Marketing Manager. Also to keep the inbox tidy, I would like you to delete all auto replies. This is a permanent role and would suit someone who can combine it with other work commitments. You will be employed for a guaranteed 10 hours per week (around 2 hours per day Monday to Friday). In practice you will need to check the inbox about every 40 minutes and paste email addresses into the spreadsheet. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE FREELANCER CAN WORK UK OFFICE HOURS. Additional other paid duties may follow over the coming weeks. Please submit your bid now. Any questions please ask by Wednesday @ 12.00. It is very self-explanatory but I would like to know more about auto-replies to be deleted (specific examples), just to be safe. Another question: Is there a strict requirement of starting at 8 in morning (UK time) and checking email after every 40 minutes during all work hours? How many times exactly do you expect this on a typical working day? I have passed the UK English exam with exceptionally great result on this website (I am among top 2% scorers).
