What we need is to to turn on/off an Amazon Ec2 instance with Ubuntu, execute a command to update the hostname, and update the A record in Route53 to access to this instance, then after working on it let the users shut it down with another click. We wanted this to work not only with Amazon Ec2 Instances, but with Bare Metal too. [url removed, login to view]
