Hi, Just a few questions about the space shooter, Is it 2d or 3d , as unity has the capability for both. What software was the art created in ? Do you have audio ? Do you perhaps have a more detailed spec document? On what platforms do you want this game to run, if it is mobile, do you have itune and Google developer accounts ? Would you require ads and in app purchases ? A little about myself, I have vast knowledge in unity and construct for both 3d and 2d. I have been working in game development for over 5 years. I have a number of years experience developing using Unity3D and have recently expanded to CryEngine. I am also a gamer so fully understand the concept of what will go into a space shooter game, both 2D and 3D. Time wise is dependant on 2D and 3D and what functionality you want in the game. IE do you want it 2D with random enemies like the old school scrolling space shooters? or are you wanting more like newer space games with freespace, ED etc that will allow the player to fly around. Both are possible but after confirming with you I can give you a truer time and cost estimate. The time and cost estimate I am giving you now is based on an oldschool 2D side scrolling multi level space shooting with increasing difficulty levels.

I have developed some small games like space invaders and 2D platform game using Unity 3D. I can share the executable of the 2D side platform game if needed. A few days will be required in order to plan the layout of the game and levels together with the events of the game. The rest will be used to develop the game mechanics, levels and testing all of these together. Question: By art are you referring to the the sprites, effects, environment and sounds?
