A simple protocol based data logging and reporting application

Need to get a PC based application developed, which will require to have: * very trivial serial port based protocol (spec is attached). * Extract information from the received messages and store it in DB * Generate the reports from the data stored in the DB. The Data received by this application will be sent by some devices, which the coder needs to simulate for testing purpose. Deliverables: Well commented source code Installation procedure document
