Seeking a competent recording studio engineer and/or music producer to help me setup my home recording studio. I'm embarking on several exciting recording project but first want to ensure the following:
Proper PreAmp, Microphone, MBox Mini setup
Setup Audition, Reason,
Be sure computer soundcard, video card, RAM, etc (and relevant software and hardware drivers) are up-to-date and able to handle the audio needs of studio
Confirm that all cables and adapters are appropriate
Help with MIDI setup
Help choose better mic, or give steps to update present microphone
Review recording audio in Adobe Audition 3.0
Review mixing and mastering audio in Adobe Audition
Additional suggestions that you find as you learn more about my hardware, software and overall studio, product and career direction
NOTE: We can do this all via webcam, phone and/or email.
Hi! I have my own profesional studio in Argentina, capital city. I work with reason and have a degree in "record and sound operation specializate in musical production". In my personal studio I work with Nuendo and reason, but I use Adobe audition to record some audiovisual things, so if you choose it I can help you set it up too. I already have a model of studio wich is a little old, it was a task for the career for the digree i told you, but i can send it to you in order to earn your confident. Hey, i've been a producer for over 12 years now and have setup a number of home and pro studios in my time as i'm also quite technically save (both PC and Mac). I am a native english speaker so we won't have any communication issues and explain things really well to people (so i'm told) ;)
I have great internet as well so we can do webcams/skype etc..
