Hi my name is Harri Winter and I am British textile designer. For six years, now, I have been studying and working in the world of textile design – specifically with print, knit, and embroidery. After graduating from Chelsea College of Art, where I studied Textile Design, I interned for and worked at a number of fashion brands and also sold some of my own work in shops in the UK. I am crazy about pattern and colour - I'm currently working on a large colour project that’s got me hand-painting onto wood, the results of which will no doubt feed back into my textile design work. As a designer, my style is quite eclectic. I first came to textile design because of my love of traditional drawing and mark-making, which still features heavily in my work. Lately, I've been experimenting with digital drawing on a tablet and embroidery, too. Some of this can be viewed in my online portfolio, which can be viewed at www.harriwinter.com.
