Project details:
You will be asked to review literature related to General Biology by finding and reading a total of 8 articles from genetics, environment, general biology, evolution, plants, etc. and provide a one-page “Review, Critique, Relate” summary using general writing style and format for each source. The readings can be from any source (i.e., professional journals, magazines, newspapers, conference proceedings, and monographs). Attached with the articles should be a Bibliography/ Webliography following APA style which includes the reference or Internet address from where the article was obtained. The articles can be submitted in individual files or several articles in one file. Assignments should be submitted as Word or RTF format.

I worked I worked as Manager of Seed & Biotech Development Projects in Egypt in a multinational biotechnology company for three years.
The Company has received in March 2008 the registration and commercialization decree for one of its products. I participated in the development of the first IRM technical guidelines and user guides in Egypt and I followed the implementation of the monitoring plan in the first year of release in order to establish zero level for the IRM strategy in Egypt. In addition, I supervised all the details for marketing campaigns, media and extension seminars.
Working 11 years in the seed sector in Egypt and the cooperation with international seed organization (OECD, UPOV, and ISTA) added to my knowledge a good background about the seed industry, plant variety registration, plant breeding, or the regulation of novel plants and their products. I have attended in 2002 an “International Training Course: Organization and Management of Formal and Informal Seed Programs” in DSE/ZEL (now called InWent) in Germany that enhanced my experience about the international seed industry.
