Contest Brief

We would like a brand new logo created for an entertainment website, Viralscape.

About the website:
- Please view the website at viralscape.com
- The website showcases extraordinary stories and photo galleries related to Arts, Science, Health, Travel, Celebrities, Humor and more.
- The audience is aged 25 to 44, an even mix of male and female, English-speaking, from United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

What we are looking for:
- The logo should be unique, memorable, classy and sophisticated, preferably with a graphical element and nice font for the text. It should be semi-serious but not too casual.
- The logo should fit well in the header on both desktop and mobile
- The standard of the logo design should be similar to the ones showcased at http://www.awwwards.com/99-creative-logo-designs-for-inspiration.html
- Logo must look good on both dark and light backgrounds
- Look good in black and white
- Fit well in both vertical and horizontal orientation
- Remains recognisable in small (e.g. business card) spaces

Formatting requirements:
- Adobe Illustrator AI/Photoshop PSD format
- Vector-based image
- File must preserve transparency

Deliverables:
- Adobe Illustrator AI/Photoshop PSD layered file
- Font files
- A favicon will be appreciated

Design inspiration:
- Origami style logos
- Logos with mascots/animals
- Logos with landscape element in it because our site is called Viralscape (for eg. Basecamp's logo)
- Attached logo.png shows the site's very first logo
- Attached examples of some logos we like
