Here is one of the patterns I designed for this contest. I tried to fulfill all your requirements. I have specialization on pattern designing and fabric pattern design. I can show you more variations of pattern designs. According to your description I tried black on white here. I also used a little grey for more detailing. This particular design is for large or medium size printing.
