Contest Brief

Savannah Carnaval brings together local talent and a local charity for an evening for jaw-dropping entertainment that includes aerial acrobatics, brazilian drummers, themed food & drink, salsa dancing, live music, amazing costumes, and so much more. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for SD Gunner Fund to help support their annual efforts of the adoption & training of service and therapy dogs for our local community in need including veterans and exceptional children.
Having now annualized the event with amazing reception from our community, we are looking to brand the event to create more public awareness and following. In our first year, we maxed out at a capacity of 250 attendees, raising enough money to fully fund a service dog. This year and in the years to come, we hope to double and triple that number to make this annual event recognizable from a national level.
Our efforts are 100% volunteer based. The funds that are raised for the event are 100% donated to the actual cause. SD Gunner Fund works as a volunteer 501c3, meaning every dollar that is donated goes to the actual cause.
