Contest Brief

We are looking for an electronics researcher to propose us 1 functional wiring diagrams and developped it further.

The specifications of the prototype are as follows:

We want a wireless transmitter,( Ex Node-MCU and ESP32) this transmitter must send data to a network server (in json). The data it sends comes from a pressure sensor allowing to obtain, at a lower cost, the weight varying from 1kg for a small model, to 50kg. This device must be powered by a replaceable battery. The aim of this project is to inform customers about weight threshold predictions.

We are waiting for a wiring diagram with the list of components used for this prototype + links for purchase - 1 week in Belgium.

In order to make our choice, we would like to have two lists of the components used + arguments as a proposal.

The list is as follows :

- Microcontroller
- Probes used ( 1kg and 10kg) same electronic characteristics
- Components for filtering
- Non-rechargeable battery ( A piezoelectric charging solution is a big plus ! )

It is on this exchange that we will decide on our collaboration. The wiring of the selecting will be the paid mission.

We have to launch this prototype quickly.

Is it necessary to make any electrical decision based on the information obtained? Example electromechanical dosing actuator
If so, the energy of the actuator who supplies it?

Sorry for the trouble, a new query.
Is there a possibility of continuous or periodic mechanical movement in the immediate vicinity of the process? I am looking for the source of mechanical work to turn it into energy. Greetings.

Hello, I find your contest very interesting.
I have some solutions in mind. but I wanted to check the following:
-What frequency in the variation of weight will be had?
-Will it be used periodically or occasionally?
-What autonomy do you want to have in hours?
The design indicates that it cannot carry a rechargeable battery ... but they do assess whether a piezoelectric charging solution can be used. Could you clarify that requirement a little more?
    Thank you.
Soon I will have my proposals.
    regards.

      Dear Carlos,

I appreciat your interesset by this projet.

To answer at your questions :

      1. That depend on the observe subject : For 1 Kg : 100g every hours or 500g 2 times a day
      2. It will use all day, so the system must be low energy consumer. Maybe in "standby" until it has a weight changement
      3. The longer autonomy possible. A calcul for this is a plus.
      4. At least we want a non rechargeable battery. Of course, A piezo electric system include a rechargeable battery. We want wireless solution with the best autonomy. A self sufficent piezo electric is the best of best . Imagine that you give food/water to your dog/cat. We have to convert this energy to power the battery.

      Feel free to ask me,

      Vivien
