PSD 2 transfer into a printable vector graphic - show me your expertise by this test project

Contest Brief

Dear folks

We do run several online stores and it is normal for us to look for freelancers to help us with. As on bad experiences with low quality on work in the past, I have decided to put simple tasks on test to find new team for our work in the very next future. Be aware that we are not willing to pay a lot until we see quality in work (timeline/quality/follow orders).

This test is about your expertise with COREL or ADOBE products:

I do have my personal family seal (crest/Wappen). Now I plan to let it print for a Paper-Seal (Colop Embossing stamp diameter 41 seal with individual text plate / logo).

Therefore I give you a psd file (Photoshop-File, attached) to transfer it into a useful vector grafic, which might be accessable by a laser cutter to print the Embossing stamp.

"Laser marking requires vector graphics: All text elements must be converted into curves (they must not be bitmaps). The graphic may only be created in black and white. The cutting line is marked with a hair-thick red color (all in the RGB area). The laser cannot "see" or detect any grayscale or colors other than those described below.

black color: R0 G0 B0

white color: R255 G255 B255

red color - indicates cutting lines: R255 G0 B0, hair thickness

The same graphic looks different depending on the image scale. Therefore, when selecting the content of the file (content and logo), especially in a small format, you should take into account that the accumulation of many elements can make the engraving illegible. Lines of individual elements must not intersect or overlap. They should be put together - clearly visible in the scaffolding view. All elements e.g. B. Lines where the thickness is important should be drawn as filled objects with the shape of a line (convert contours / lines into objects). The distance between the details should not be less than 1 mm - otherwise the edges of the elements will stick together after manufacture. The distance between the elements and the end of the die must not be 1.5 mm

The lines used in the project must not be thinner than 0.2 mm

Direction of embossing: from below, from the right, from above and from the left

The blind stamp is intended for stamping on paper with a maximum weight of 100 - 120 g (recommended)"

If you prefer to write the address "@SEHMSDORF.net) by yourself into the vector graphic, I do not mind, that is why I offer the basis, as well.

Just for a preview of yourself to how the original crest/seal looks like, a jpg is attached as well.

Employer Feedback

“Dear Jahanara, acctually, even that I payed three people for the work to offer my stamp maker different images to take, they told me that they wanted to use your solution. You have been the only professional sending me the result in different image-formats, easy to watch and use in the future. Thank you. My new and personal stamp will show your work. Thank you. Yours, Oliver”
