Contest Brief

I recently was doodling and discovered that I can write my first name (Daniel) in such a way that it can be mirrored horizontally to spell my last name (Power)--see the attached image. I'd like to incorporate it into future business ventures (business cards, a logo of some sort, tags on my artwork, etc). I'd just like to see what kind of cool logos/images everyone can come up with! It can be simple as just putting a line between the two names to represent a flip, as detailed as "Daniel" floating above water with the reflection saying "Power", or something else entirely. Feel free to tweak the font just as long as it still clearly says "Daniel" when right side up and "Power" when flipped.

UPDATE: I've found a business card theme I like online and I've included a picture of it. Please try to match the color scheme, ideally with the "Daniel Power" being the cyan color. Also, I've really liked the entries that have included some sort of line or surface between the "Daniel" and the "Power", so those have a little bit better shot at winning. And for the final files, I'd like to have it in a PNG or some other format that will allow the background to show through. Thanks!

Hi everyone! Thanks to all of you who participated in this contest! It got a lot more traffic than I expected it would, which made it that much harder for each of you to stand out. I ended up choosing the winner because his/her design was very simple, elegant, easy to understand, and overall professional-looking. It really looks like something that fits well on a professional business card. So even though most of you didn't win, thanks for your efforts! And congrats to you guys that I was still considering at the very end! You guys have a bright design future ahead of you!

Howdy Daniel P. ~ Thanks for the Great Ratings on my original designs. As I mentioned, I didn't use any fonts in your design. I redrew your original sketch, implementing my own handwriting and vectored it using illustrator. Shouldn't be a problem to obtain a copyright and/or trademark (in which I'd advise you to do). I've since added a couple more designs following the same theme, only changing up the colors a bit.

Hey I have actually used an existing font and tweaked it fulfill the requirements. If you want I can make exactly to look like your attached doodle.

For a good entry for this contest it is very likely that you'll need to use a vector program to emulate the doodle I sketched of my name (which is in the contest description). An existing font is unlikely to work.
