Contest Brief

I am hereby posting a competition for an interior design for my office room. The room is smallish (12.5sqm), and I use it to sleep sometimes. The idea behind this is not only an AutoCAD or 3D Max experience, the participants should have an interior design inspiration, how to fit things into small spaces, how to utilize the space efficiently, and how to keep it modern, simple, and functional.

1. We need the cabinets to reach the ceiling on the right side of the room (when you enter). There should be a space for fitting a sofa bed from Ikea (photo attached). Ikea Vallentuna.
2. My work desk is ideally 75cm x 150cm.
3. Curtains are to be either roller shutter or slanted wood.
4. Colors should be white/light grey ambience, with a nice simple chandilier.

Keep it modern, simple, and functional. There should be enough cabinets and wardrobes to fit our stuff, but I don't want the whole room to be filled with wardrobes.

Hint: We would like also cabinets from the top of the window to the ceiling - to fit our suitcases.

Competition closes in 5 days, and the price is 50$, with additional tip for the winner with nice entry.

I included some sample work from previous designer, it's nice, but not 100% what I am looking for.

      Please could you put the specific model of the sofa bed, since it is necessary to know the measurements of the sofa in bed mode as a sofa for the functional design, I was looking in Ikea store and there are several similarities but nothing concrete. I will appreciate it very much

      hi Alberto, the sofa bed will be 180cm width, 90cm depth, 90cm height. similar item is on ikea store Vallentuna. height of ceiling is 288cm.
