Contest Brief

Hi! We need you to desing a logo for our company.
Our company name is Wayra Waku, which in Quechua means: Wind vessels.
We have choose this name because our main product is inspired in Peruvian Whistling Vessels, which are ancient magical musical instrument that have multiples properties, as:
- Aling the chakra with their sound
- facilitates relaxation and meditation
- it helps us connect with nature
Also, these vessels are beautifull made, they can represent birds, foxs, men, women, couple, even houses! Everything that a modern person can put in a photo can be used as an inspiration for making a vessel. Even fruits and mollucs were represented.

I attach few photos of whistling vessels as a reference, and a and a suggested color palette. We recomend to use the one that correspond to Recuay (Yes, we have many pre-colombinan cultures).

If you need more information (or if you want to order our vessels), feel free to ask, but our priority right now is our logo.

Read this:
For the contest if ok if you upload a picture in JPG.
But if you win the contest, we will require the original file in Illustrator.
If you use any font, type which one are you using and if it is free or if we have to pay for commercial uses.

An advice:
Dont be afraid to give some art to the whole "Wayra Waku"
Maybe you can use the shape of the whistling vessel as part of the logo. Here is a generic shape/silhouette: https://www.pinterest.es/pin/14707136263636931/
Attencion! La shape of the parrot can change, because ancient peruvians represents many things as sea wolf, women, mens, venado, dogs, others birds, fruits, etc...
We would appreciate if you use colors similar to red clay. Similar to earth.

      es un ser zoomorfo, parece un mono con cola de pavo real lo cual es extraño porque en esa vasija el elemento principal es el lobo de mar, el cual es un ser marino. Podria simbolizar la conexión entre ambos mundos: el mundo marino y el mundo terrestre. Lo que se puede rescatar de este relieve, es entonces, la conexión con la naturaleza que tenían los antiguos peruanos.
