Contest Brief

We have received a grant to start a project on Generic Smart Home Technology and we're naming this campaign "Smart Homes Made Simple". Generic smart home technology refers to off-the-shelf technology that can be used "as is" to create a system of appliances, lighting, heating, air conditioning, TVs, computers, entertainment audio & video systems, security, and camera systems that are capable of communicating with one another and can be controlled remotely by a time schedule, from any room in the home, as well as remotely from any location in the world by phone or internet. We're specifically interested in how this technology can be used by people with disabilities to create independence as assistive technology.
Our goal is to learn about, define, and raise awareness of what this amazing and affordable tech can do for people of all abilities.
We need a logo to represent Smart Homes Made Simple. We'd like it to be clean and modern, not overly visually complicated, and to represent technology and how it helps people... the connection between a person's independence and smart home technology.
