Contest Brief

Looking for a logo for our in house (insurance) rating application. It will be called Nova. The word Nova (Capital N small ‘ova’), with a star (Nova) somewhere (not in the O that is already used unless it can look totally different than this: - see Doc ) – I like that one but I need an original design.

Incorporate the two colours (purple and blue, RGB in Doc) somehow. Poor examples in Doc.

Also possible idea to additionally use a compass (geometry compass) as the N. Some stock pictures from internet below the logo examples.

Needs to be crisp enough to be large (think quarter of 8x11 page) and also scale small enough to be recognizable as a box on an application architecture diagram or application logo on top left of application GUI around 1cm high by 2cm long

Bonus if there can be a not obvious ‘easter egg’ in there that is the symbol for a woman

Need jpg, gif, and source files from tool used to create.
