Artwork design for band CD (jewel case) with logo too

Contest Brief

Blues/rock band is in need of an artists work up for it's first CD cover and new band logo. Looking for a theme with a mascot, something in the vein of a Guitar/bird with wings maybe, surrounded in flames as an initial thought. Band name is Blue Sky Crying. We're a hot blues band but with the word Blue in the name I like the idea of red/blue contrast maybe. Another possible direction for art work is Big Something, Phish, Gov't Mule style designs as examples.
