Contest Brief

I am needing a simple 2D animation to illustrate a paragraph within a video I am making for YouTube. If you have seen other YouTube videos where they use simple animations to illustrate things...that is what I am looking for.

It should be interesting and perhaps even a bit funny.

The text is as follows:



His net worth can fluctuate more in seconds than most people will earn in a lifetime. Within a day, his net worth could change by a billion or more dollars and has many times.



This paragraph refers to Warren Buffett if you want to make a character out of him.

This is the first time doing this for an animation so I am not sure what other information you need other than I calculate that this paragraph will last 10 seconds so please have the animation sync with this amount of time.

I reserve the right to end this contest early if I find a suitable submission. I will give at least a 1 hour heads up that I plan I am wrapping it up everyone that has started working on it can submit theirs for review and new people can avoid starting to work on it.

I will be importing it into iMovie program so as long as it is compatible with that, I do not care too much about what file type you use.

    I want to clarify what I am looking for so I don't waste anyone's time. I'm not simply looking for basic text effects where the text flies in or something like that...I am looking for graphical effects that illustrate that his net worth changes very rapidly and in seconds can move more than most people make in a lifetime and in the course of a day can change by billions. Again, I'm not looking for anything fancy necessarily (although feel free to be as fancy as you want), I'm just looking for something visual that conveys what the words are saying. Please feel free to ask questions.

    Shafqat A - Thanks so much for your submission! Visually, I think it looks really good...however, I don't think it really punctuates the amount of money he makes or loses in seconds or in the course a day as much as I was hoping for. Still, very good and it's a contender. Thanks!

    Thanks for your submission Aymen! It's definitely the type of animation I was thinking but I'm not sure it really visually captures the magnitude of how much his net worth can change in seconds as well as over the course of a day. Nonetheless, thanks so much for your submission!

    I really appreciate everyone's submissions but no one yet has submitted a visual animation. So far, it's just been text effects (fly-ins, etc). Unfortunately, this is not what I am looking for.
