After representing Loughborough University at New Designers 2013, I gained experience in the fast paced London product consulting world, prior to expanding my knowledge and skill set by accepting a Design Engineer position at Dyson. During this time I excelled both working in and leading teams, designing, testing and tooling critical assemblies that are now manufactured and implemented in modern cordless machines. Approached by AEG at New Designers. Asked to create a “product package” on 5 power point slides: Idea, Conceptualisation, Storyboard, Market and Final Design. I have happily worked for AEG on and off for the last two years, performing a wide range of briefs, designing and developing products for their kitchenware range.

Sep 2013 - Dec 2014 (1 year, 3 months)

I was offered a position at Dyson after being "headhunted" at the 2013 New Designers Awards in London. During my time at Dyson I was promoted on two occasions, have designed and sent parts to manufacture for future generation machines (one of which is under patent investigation) Designed mechanical and electrical systems, countless proof of principle prototypes and test rigs, all supported by with formal reports. I left to travel the world.
