Senior officer in the Corporate Finance and Internal Audit fields, I have developed significant work experience in the areas of financial planning and budgeting, treasury and cash management, accounting, financial and credit analysis, costing, project evaluation and execution, internal control testing, operational, anti-fraud and anti-corruption audits (SOX, FCPA/UKBA), international financial standards and procedures compliance, general reporting, as well as leading supporting function teams and project implementations. I have successfully developed project analyses, planning, execution and roll out (i.e. activity-based costing methodology implementation), banking partner transition, audit and treasury areas methodology changes. My skills include CAATs, writing scripts (i.e. IDEA), accounting/financial software, Microsoft Office, business analytics tools, among others. I am experienced in general administrative duties and remote assistance; as well as instructional (secondary and college levels) and translation tasks. I am a graduate of the Universidad Católica de Honduras with a major in Finance and Banking. I also hold two master's degrees: an MBA from the Universidad Católica de Honduras; and a Master of Arts in Education (Curriculum and Instruction) from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Spanish is my native language. I also speak English with nearly native proficiency, and I'm fluent in French.
