I am a UNIX and Linux systems administrator, software developer and researcher with several decades of experience in designing and developing bespoke Internet connected solutions for eCommerce, education, management, gaming, and online communities. My experiences have included: * Unix, Linux, BSD and Windows server builds, administration and maintenance * Development of custom websites (bespoke and using off the shelf software such as CMSMS, Wordpress, etc.) * Development of custom billing, provisioning and automation software for managing clusters of IT systems * Operation of Internet Systems including Web, Email, Telephony, DNS, networking and various infrastructural technologies * Development of organization and resource management software including HR, asset and coordination tools * Ecommerce through off the shelf software and custom development * Embedded device firmware for payments, mesh networking and light weight communication * System security and auditing including firewalls, system audits and procedural policy developments to name just a handful. Aside from working with Information Technology to help enhance connectivity for business and humans, I also enjoy photography, radio and wireless communications and general tinkering.
