I've been engaged in vaguely music related jobs since the late 90ies, but after receiving a state award for a short film in 2006/`07, I decided to go all out, get my degree in sound engineering and music production, and provide services to advertising agencies and film directors alike. With my close friend and partner in crime Michael Laven, I co-owned and managed a sound studio in the Rhein Main area from 2008 til 2013. We primarily focused on adverts for agencies in the area. We provided all-in services to our customers, who eventually turned out to be as diverse as Playhouse records, a vinyl house record label ARTE, a public broadcasting station, for a documentary on climate change Deutsche Börse, the German stock exchange, for explanatory adverts Admiral Music lounge, providing live sound solutions and manpower numerous radio ads Individual artists, such as Jeffrey James from HI, USA, SWAT from Wiesbaden, Basti Grub, a house artist, and many more I gained my strongest business ties and work experience with and from Sensory Minds, an agency focusing on touch screen apllications and integrated installation solutions, websites, and other products in 21st century technology fields. You can see several works we did together in my portfolio. I also engaged in many non-public projects with ma/ma interactive systems design in Frankfurt, particularly in the field of sound design and machine design. Customers in the field like to keep the lid on their identities. However, I am allowed to mention they were primarily a world-wide leader in home appliances for their newest household robotic applications, and the world-wide leader in airport security devices, for their new line of advanced x-ray scanner devices. For these, I provided consultation on audio formats, speakers, and audio outputs, and was deeply involved in the process of auditive feedback generation and haptic sound definition. Recently, after several years of teaching audio production workshops at the University of Design HfG in Offenbach, I joined the freelance staff at the Games Academy Frankfurt, an institution focusing strongly on Video Game Design and Programming education to the next generation of game professionals
