After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, I've worked for 5 years across 2 jobs as a Full Stack engineer. During that time I've worked on numerous client-facing websites and mobile apps, with the latest being a large mobile app built in React Native that is being used by over 50,000 people daily. In my spare time I have created a game called ChatFight! and built multiple smaller exploration projects to learn as many technologies as I can, such as a mobile card game, a first person aim trainer, and React/CSS tutorial videos. This was a personal project, where I built a card game based on "Monikers" for the phone. ChatFight! combines RNG, slapstick humor, and community engagement, offering an exciting experience for Twitch streamers and their audiences. It's a chat-based game which lets viewers join simulated battles by typing !join in Twitch Chat, and getting to be included in the stream. I focused on user-friendly design and fair gameplay, utilizing Three.js for character customization and ensuring smooth performance for large player groups. Developed with SOLID principles and an event-driven architecture, the game's website features a secure in-game store. ChatFight! has received positive feedback from various streamer communities and is now available on Steam, marking a key achievement in my development journey. I have since learned a lot more about system architecture and coding principles, and have grown significantly as a developer since its release.
