Lucida is a speech and vision based intelligent personal assistant developed in Clarity Lab at the University of Michigan. I am voluntarily working with Lucida team at Clinc AI on the project. The objective of the team is to develop an autonomous unmanned aircraft to be used for search and mapping operations. I helped develop instrumentation and software for a fixed wing aircraft as the head of instrumentation and software unit of the team. The aircraft could takeoff, fly and land autonomously. It could localize itself to an accuracy of 1.5m and detect simple shapes and text while flying at a speed of 10m/s.

This project aimed at designing a low cost development board which emulates the partial reconfiguration feature available in high end chips using a cluster of low density FPGAs. Partial on-the-fly reconfiguration can help speed up piplined processes by reusing logic elements. We successfully finished simulations for the development board.
