It was requirement of one of my projects. I designed an HMI(Human Machine Interface) for controlling an Industrial PID controller attached with PC via USB port. This design required intuitive approach and extensive LabView programming skills. C++ programming was used on the other end to receive and manipulate the data sent by LabView.

This is a micro coded state machine which has the following command set
Ai = A0 ± A1 ± A2 ± A3
Ai = A0 ± A1 ± A2
Ai = A0 ± A1
Ai = Aj

for i;j = 0,1,2,3

if A0, jump LABEL
if (!A0) jump LABEL
if A0 call subroutine at LABEL

Where A0, A1, A2 and A3 are 16-bit registers. The register A0 is also used in condition jump instruction for its zero or non zero value. Assume PM is 256 deep and LABEL is any legal address in the PM.
