## BIO
I am an experienced software developer and worked on several kinds of projects ranging from systems level applications to web based business solutions. I have a B.S. in C.S. and Philosophy. Currently, I am a C.S. PhDÂ student at a large public research university where my focus is in the area of high performance computing for scientific applications and operating system theory.
## Area of Expertise
I've worked a great deal C/C++, particular with Visual C++, MFC, Win32, ATL, and COM+. As well, I have experience with Linux/Unix application development using C, Perl, Python, GTK+. I've also done a large amount of work in Java, using Tomcat, JBoss (J2EE and EJB3), Swing, Java Server Faces, Velocity Templates, and Struts. Currently, I'm a doing a of on .NET applications, both desktop apps in C# and VB.NET as well as ASP.NET. I have a strong skillset in relational database design and have experience working with IBM Informix, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and VistaDB.
I also hold several industry certifications including the MCSE, MCSA, MCDBA, MCAD, A+, Network+, and a few others.
Technologies I'm currently very interested in: WCF, LINQ, Windows Driver Development, Linux Kernel Development, and, of course, Grid Computing (particularly the Globus Toolkit).
