Again on my surgery notes. No, I am not a doc, only a Vet assistant who LOVES to learn!
I started working at the age of 17. I was a Lab assistant and sometimes I had to be in charge of it. They used to say I was unique, because I always had a smile on my face and a “please/thank you” to say! They said I was the only one who treated them like that.
Then, I was an English teacher. I know how difficult it is, so I always looked for the best way to help students. When I left, they said they’d miss me because I always helped them.
My last job was at a 5 star hotel for 18 years! I didn’t have guests; I had friends. Gifts, cards and calls, just to say “thank you!” I guess they felt heard and understood.
People say I´m difficult to deal with. They must be right. When I do something, I do my best. I read, investigate and try to learn more and I want people to do the same... My father used to say, “no matter what you do or who you are ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST, BE KIND AND MAKE THE DIFFERENCE!”
