Portfolio

This project is used to assist in data quality between two systems. The user provides a flat-file extract of a particular database table and that data is compared with the master system. A report is generated highlighting those rows which are erroneous and require updating.
The screen displayed shows an input file being processed so the various data elements can be identified and stored in a JTable. The program also includes the option to identify columns by fixed width mimicking Excel text-to-columns functionality.
The comparison with the master system is achieved by a series of pre-defined SQL statements submitted via a JDBC connection.
