Any and all proofreading and copy-editing tasks undertaken – competitive rates and speedy time frames! I am registered with the Society for Editors and Proofreaders, and have recently undertaken extensive editing and proofreading work on a published diploma course for optical technicians. I have extensive experience of editing academic assignments, including doctoral theses, but I am more than happy to undertake commercial and creative work too. Proofreading and editing forms part of my full-time employment, and I have ample time to complete up to 30 hours freelance work per week. Rates are fixed as follows: £5 per 1000 words for straightforward proofreading tasks (minimum fee for any job is £5), £7 per 1000 words for copy-editing with proofreading (this is a maximum, and is negotiable).
